FAQS - Plans and pricing Frequently Asked Questions about Plans and Pricing

What plan is best for me?

To determine what plan is best for you, there are two main questions you need to ask yourself:

1. Do you want to offer Digital Print only or do you also want to offer Embroidery on your site?
This will determine whether you go for the Digital Print plan or the Embroidery & Digital Print Plan

2. How many orders do you expect to receive per month?
This will be the basis of what level of plan you need. There are low, medium and high value plans to choose from.

Some people like to start with a lower plan and then upgrade later. This is a good option if you think it will take some time to build up. However you pay more per order this way, so it's better to save by going on a higher plan if you know that you will be reaching those numbers.

What are DecoCredits?

DecoCredits are what it costs you to process one line item on your DecoNetwork.com store (less for line items lower than $20).

If you start with 1500 DecoCredits for example, and they are deducted each time a sale is made, just like hours on your cell phone plan.

The value of the DecoCredits, for each order line item sold through DecoNetwork.com will be as low as $0.08 (for a low value order) but never exceed $2.00 (for high value order, even if you have just taken a million dollar order). This is to ensure the success of your business by providing you with the most scalable pricing options. More

Why DecoCredits?

DecoNetwork.com is based on a subscription model, so you're not paying for upfront development costs.

Some companies charge a percentage of every sale but we do not believe this is a fair model. If you do the maths, this can become quite expensive.

DecoCredits offer the best of both worlds by allowing you to sell very high priced goods for a minimum processing fee while still making it affordable to sell very low priced goods.

How much does each transaction cost?

The amount of DecoCredits deducted depends of the value of each line item. This means you are making good profit margins on both low priced and high priced sales.

Here's an example of a typical order:
sample order image

You received $2688 for this order.

From your 1500 DecoCredits, 3.35 were deducted (valued at $4.55).

You've made a profit of $2683.45

You can see from above, that no matter if your order values are high or low, you're still making good profit.

A $2.00 order will only deduct 1/10 of a credit, (valued at $0.13).

This example is based on the Low Print Only Plan. More details on DecoCredit values for all plans

Does Wilcom take a percentage of my sales?

No. We believe this is not a very scalable business option for you. By simply using credits, you'll never spend more than $2 to process an order line through DecoNetwork.com.

That means even if you get an order for 250 red shirts valuing $5000, you'll only be deducted one DecoCredit which would be no more than $2. Likewise, if you get an order for less than $5 it will cost you a maximum of $0.20.

Is DecoNetwork.com affordable for selling low cost items?

Definitely! This is reason why the amount of DecoCredits used in a transaction is scaled depending on how low the value of the item is. For any item less than $5, it will only cost 1/10 of a DecoCredit (between $0.08 - $0.20 depending on your plan)

Or in other words, if you are on the Digital Print - Low Plan you can sell 15,000 items for $4.99 during the year, making $74,850. It will have only cost you $2000 for the year.

What if I use lots of DecoCredits on some months, and hardly any on other months?

That's fine - your DecoCredits are calculated over the whole year, so they just roll on month to month.

What if I use up my DecoCredits in less than 12 months?

No problem, you simply sign up for another 12 month plan. You may wish to upgrade to a higher plan so that you have more DecoCredits to use and can benefit from your DecoCredits being calculated at a lower amount.

Example: If you're on the Print-only Medium Plan and you use your 3000 DecoCredits in less than a year, you make wish to sign up for a Print-only High Plan which give you 6000 DecoCredits. You will then only have $1.33 deducted for each DecoCredit used, instead of $1.67.

If you run out of DecoCredits and don't sign up to another 12 month plan, you will simply be charged per DecoCredit used at a 50% higher rate. This will return to the regular value once you have confirmed your new plan.

What if I don't do enough business - can I really justify getting DecoNetwork.com?

Of course it depends on what your plans are for your business. If your plans include trying to find ways to get more sales and gain more exposure -than DecoNetwork.com would be one of the best investments you could make.

It allows you to not only have a professional web store, but also to build a network of Affiliate web stores, all bringing in more money than you would generate alone.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes. You can change the Plan you have chosen to a higher cost Plan at any time including before your current Plan has expired.

a) If your DecoCredits have run out and you wish to upgrade to a higher plan: your 12month plan will be reset to start from when your DecoCredits ran out (or last billed excess). You will then be charged the new Plan amount.

b) If you are still within your 12 month Plan and have not used up all you credits, but wish to upgrade to a higher plan: the Plan start date remains the same. The extra cost of the upgraded plan will simply be added to your plan cost.

You can choose to upgrade your plan from within your Admin Dashboard, under Accounts.

I don't sell printed goods; can I just have an Embroidery only Plan?

No - the Embroidery process is quite complex which is why it involves a higher cost than the Digital Printing plan. The Digital Printing capability is simply bundled into the Embroidery plan, so you can choose whether or not you want to use it.

Can I cancel anytime?
